Review on 🍹 Vitamix 5200 Blender - Professional-Grade, Self-Cleaning 64 oz Container in Black (Model: 001372) by Michael Reese

It's not just a blender. You have to tell yourself that to actually spend money on any of these things. I know there's an age old debate about Vitamix and Blendtech, but I've never tried Blendtech because our Vitamix has been the workhorse of many years of everyday use and it still works! My parents had it, everyone in my family has it, and they all love it as much as we do. I think it's like Ford vs Chevy. ;) Anyway, I'll be short and sweet. Our 3 year old son has autism and severe sensory issues making him the pickiest eater in the world. That being said, he'll drink pretty much anything we put in his cup, as long as it passes the looks, smell, and texture tests. Without the Vitamix I don't know how we would be feeding our child and making sure they are getting the protein, fresh fruit and veg etc that their little growing mind and body needs. We can put ANYTHING in his cocktails and he has no idea because the Vitamix works incredibly well and mixes everything perfectly. No lumps, no pulp, no fuss! Smooth, creamy and delicious no matter what we put in! Not only do we use it every day for his "dinner", I use it every day for my green smoothies and my husband uses it for his protein shakes. This thing has withstood a lot of abuse and pretty intense daily beatings from frozen fruit, ice cubes etc and it still performs exactly as it did when we bought it FIVE YEARS AGO. We didn't have to swap parts or service. Regular cleaning and maintenance only. Boom. It's much more than a blender, it's a way of life.
