Ideal for upgrading the boost system of a 22hp Predator engine. Original did not hold charge on JD 345. Replaced original and used for several weeks with no charge indicator on dash. The original only delivers 12.6 volts 3.5 amps. These regulators will provide 14.1 volts and 10 amps with the stock stator installed on the Predator engine. This required replacing the ends of the AC power cords. The DC cable connector fits into the engine wiring harness. Recommend this voltage regulator as a replacement for a Predator motor that is having trouble charging the JD 345.
