Installed on the new RADCITY e-bike. I weigh 215 pounds, am 6ft 1in tall and 58 years old. I shouldn't break bike seats just by riding on the sidewalk. The seat is dangerous as it is held together by a single nut (no washer) although the underlying plastic shell in front of the seat can easily break causing the seat to recline and lose balance while I end up riding the floor with lots of scratches and bruising after a leg hit the ground when the seat broke, causing my weight to shift back over the seat back. As I began to fall backwards over the seat back, one foot came off the pedal and landed on the floor as I applied the brakes. The bike spun around my body and landed on my feet. when I drove another 15 meters behind on asphalt. Luckily the bike didn't sustain any major damage, but my legs and clothes weren't so lucky. Luckily I wasn't hit. Seat design with a single bolt and nut without washer c It is easy to pull out or break the plastic shell and cause a serious accident. I could have hurt myself a lot more than I was. The first 40km ride with this seat was very smooth and comfortable and I never expected that there could be a product/technical design flaw. I will not exchange this seat for the same one because of an accident. I was impressed by the reviews for this chair when I bought it. The buyer should be careful that this is not a textural sound. Now I'm going back to the original seat that came with the bike and is obviously better designed but less comfortable.
