Copy or from my PC via Officejet but the faxed document is not saved , just my original which I saved under "My Documents". checked several places on my PC). Windows Fax and Scan doesn't recognize my Officejet as a 'modem' even though it has one, so I can't use WFS unless I have a real modem that my 12 year old PC used. but I removed it to make room for my larger graphics card. Hence the need for an external fax modem. I just received this modem yesterday and immediately plugged it into an external USB 2.0 hub (see photo). Manually ran Windows Update to find the optimal drivers. After that, I rebooted. I got an error on the test fax, so I followed the seller's instructions for Windows 10 as listed in Revain's Important Info list. Turn Windows features on or off - turn off "PRINT AND DOCUMENT SERVICES" - restart your computer - then select "PRINT AND DOCUMENT SERVICES" again. That helped. After a restart I was able to send and receive faxes and the actual faxed document was saved in Windows Fax and Scan.
