After reading reviews on other Seagates, I expected to hear the knock of heads and other noise during operation. However, I was pleasantly surprised - the disc is almost inaudible at all. Put to copy the data on it for the night - and it did not interfere. You have to listen in complete silence to hear something. To turn off the bright indicator (it interferes at night), you need to download it from the Seagate Dashboard website and turn it off in the settings there. Then you can delete it - the software is no longer needed. From modern devices, you expect a USB 3.1 interface with a USB-C cable, but here everything is the old fashioned way. The disk write speed does not exceed 50Mb/s. Copying 4 terabytes took 26 hours. The meaning of the built-in USB hub (2 USB connectors in front) is not clear - since the disk is used for backup, it is turned off most of the time. And there is no point in additional USB connectors. Therefore, there is none. The actual capacity is 12.7Tb (14.000.383.32420220 bytes. It is clear why, but this confuses many. Inside, according to CrystalInfo, there is a Seagate Exos X16 drive (ST14000NM001G-2KJ103)
