I bought this car phone holder to mount my Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra on the dashboard. After receiving it, I sent a message to customer service to make sure it works well with my phone with PopSockets® on the back. Melody was quick to respond with instructions on how best to use this mount with my phone. She also actively followed me until she found the vehicle worked well for me, which was very reassuring. I have never had more responsive and proactive customer service than Melody's. The Torras phone holder was just what I needed. It holds my large, heavy phone just fine as PopSockets® attach to the back of my Otterbox Symmetry clear case. It stayed securely on the dash with the phone on many trips without shaking or wobbling. I prefer this holder because the hand holds it close enough to me for me to read and unlock with face recognition. I would buy this without hesitation. Installation: I use this in my Toyota Sienna minivan with a slightly textured dashboard. Cleaning the dashboard was very important to ensure the adhesive disc was securely attached. If you have had a car for many years, a quick wipe down of the dashboard with a rag with alcohol is not enough. There may be layers of dust and dirt, I've found. I had to do several cycles with alcohol swabs until it was completely clean. I then stuck on an adhesive disc and left it for about 3 days until I mounted the adhesive suction cup holder. I think the reviewers who did this didn't work because they probably didn't clean their dash enough, or didn't put it on a flat surface, or didn't let the drive sit long enough before attaching the mount. Phone attachment: Press the button on the back to open the arms, then press at the base of the arms (not the edges). With a large, thick phone in a thin case and with PopSockets®, the phone will protrude slightly from the arms of the mount, but the arms will hold the phone in place. If I wanted I could unscrew my PopTops to fit the phone deeper into the mount but it wasn't necessary and my phone never fell out. Customer Service: I am just impressed with the customer service Melody verifies and is willing to offer an alternative if the holder does not fit. She didn't stop checking until she found that I was completely satisfied with how the holder worked. I highly recommend this company and this keeper!
