I love these - they give me exactly what I wanted, extra kick on the pedal without moving my foot forward on the pedals. I wear US size 14 shoes and they fit me perfectly. Now for the installation... Before purchasing I read the negative reviews and most of them complained about inadequate mounting hardware and while I agree I found a workaround. I didn't set up my pedals for them, but I knew they might work if I thought about it a little... First, I knocked out the orange reflector that was originally installed on the pedals to make room to put my own mounting screws - the ones that came with the kit were too short. . I had longer screws and that saved me a trip to the hardware store. I used washers to equalize the pressure and some threadlock to keep the nuts from loosening. Usually long screws are crazy because they look ridiculous, but since they're under the pedal and don't matter, I lived with that. The entire setup project took me about 20 minutes and I removed the pedal to reduce potential pedal frustration. twirled around as I turned the crank while messing around with the process. They give me what I want without worrying that my leg has no escape route in case I have to drop my leg in an emergency.
