Review on ๐Ÿงฉ Ultimate Guide to Fast Solving with Jurnwey Speed 3X3X3 Stickerless Cube by Michael Hemmig

Misbuilt but good value when assembled correctly

This is a great cube for the price but is losing stars for a number of reasons. The first and most important reason is that this particular cube was put together incorrectly. You should never get to the point where you have two adjacent yellow edges that cannot be swapped. You can have four edges or three spare edges, but never two, it's impossible to decide. I can move the swamps to the corners, but then I have two adjacent corners that don't match adjacent corners and that's also impossible to solve. I've been trying to make sure it's not user error for 4 days. I tried swapping corners and edges in every way I could think of, but the two pieces never lined up properly. All of the research I've done on the subject suggests that parts of the cube were physically swapped out, and since this is a brand new cube that was shuffled in my presence, I know no one swapped those parts around on purpose to do damage. . This is a build error and if you gave this to someone who doesn't know any better they would drive themselves crazy trying to build an impossible cube, which is why it lost points for giftability and for beginners. I could return it and see if the new one is properly assembled, but I'll just take it apart and reassemble it myself because it's not expensive enough to warrant a return and it's repairable. I got five stars because the center caps that cover the screws are very difficult to keep in place. Don't drop it! All four middle covers are flying in different directions and it will be difficult for you to find them. The movement on this cube is very smooth as it is a speed cube, but it is a bit difficult even for a beginner. because if you don't know how to hold the cube correctly, you immediately move the piece you didn't want to move and have to start all over again by accidentally slipping. It's also pretty easy to accidentally twist the corners when assembling the cube in "speed mode" as some parts will snag and rotate without realizing it. your part. Not recommended as a beginner gift due to an unknown build error.
