I really wanted to love this. It was on my wish list for my son last year. I finally got him one for Christmas, he's almost 2 1/2 now. I thought it was a good age. And it would be if he were right-handed. My son's left hand seems to be the dominant hand and the stylus is on the right side making it difficult for him to use it with his left hand. I'm right handed so I think this is unfortunately just the beginning of the obstacles we will encounter. For kids who are not right-handed, it would be better if the handle was a little closer to the middle of the connection point. I have another magnet stick that detaches from the dollar store set and we can use it with the set.
