Cool stuff but more ink or watercolor from my experience. When used with a Sakura watercolor brush (the ones that contain water and you squeeze the handle to get a wet brush or rinse the brush) it changes from a deep inky black to a pale gray depending on how hard you brush it dilute. Water. The reason I took off the star is because I had no success trying to delete it. First I tried a kneadable eraser just to remove the tint or something, then a zero wand monostick and neither of them lifted anything. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, I don't know. I haven't tried dry simply because I don't need any other form of graphite. I'm a bit disappointed but gave it 4 stars because it was fun playing with ink that comes straight out of the brush.
