I love this charcoal, but as other reviewers have noted, I use it the same way I use watercolor. quick cost picture. I use Altoid tin to hold the disc that I can travel with.

Nice product, essentially a sumi ink pen that doesn't need to be sharpened. Offers a wide range of tints for controlled brush and calligraphy and partial etching (depending on the paper) for special effects or minor flaws. Cool stuff but more ink or watercolor from my experience.
