That's all good. I've been using it for several months. At first I was disappointed that the cheap coffee filters I buy at Trader Joe's didn't work for him; along the seams, not reinforced from below, fine soil passed. But then I realized that two filters, one inside the other, with seams on opposite sides, work just fine. Trader Joe filters cost about a cent each, while Chemex filters cost about ten cents each.
