I really like these ice cream molds. I love the fact that they're BPA-free (don't use anything that contains it) and they work well in my always-stocked freezer. I don't like that I have to let her sit for a while. before removing the ice cubes from the tray. Don't you dare twist them or they might tear or break which is the only reason I deducted a star. If I could rotate the ice cubes it would be five stars for sure. I use a lot of ice cubes to make green and fruit smoothies so not enough ice comes through the door. When I'm ready for an ice cube, I'm ready. I don't always forget to take out my tray about five minutes before dinner. But it must be done. Then I pour some warm water under the tray and knock out the ice cubes. It might seem like a lot of hassle, but it's not that much. You just have to remember it and it becomes a habit. Sometimes I put the trays in the dishwasher and they don't get damaged at all. If you need silicone ice cube trays, I recommend them. Just know that you can't twist them or handle them roughly, and like all other ice cube trays other than the old-fashioned metal ones our grandparents used, they wear out over time and need to be replaced.
