I've spent too much time scraping and shoveling lumps from the bottom of the tray with two cats, which can take a long time. I even used gardening tools to scrape, loosen, and then shovel. It was too much. Then I bought a self-cleaning box $$, which turned out to be defective and had to be sent back. So I started looking for a durable metal shovel (what a great idea!) and found exactly what I was looking for. I chose WePet because it seemed comparable to others for a few dollars less. like me) who is afraid to scoop the box, I would highly recommend this scoop. It has a thick, strong handle and a large screen that covers a large area with much less effort and time. I really like it and I highly recommend it. Minus, the holder only lasted a few days before falling off. It doesn't fit in my spatula holder, so I'm using a plastic container for now.
