Does the job. everything that has been said about carbon fiber seatposts and whatnot. However, it is cheaply made. When I tightened it to the seat bolts the paint chipped in two places and I used the recommended 5 Newton torque and nothing else. I covered the cracks with paint. It's supposed to use charcoal paste to keep the seat tube from sliding down the seat tube, but because it's shiny it scratches horribly and when you have to pick it up it shows a horrible scratched part and it's not pretty. I would not buy again. It does the job if you ignore the horrible scratches and chips!
