Blue (medium sized) connectors can get a decent crimp. It's too tight for Red, and you can tell by the shape of the plugs that one jaw deviates to the side, resulting in at least a twisted plug if not a broken wire. Wheel. The small size can technically be crimped without the wire coming out, but it takes more practice than you would expect. And with this pressure, the blue plugs don't hold up. They just didn't do their job well. It's technically possible. With enough exposure, it can do its job. There are crappy strippers/tweezers that work great. But a good ratchet crimper is a professional tool. It should work reliably and with minimal effort. Who has time to mess with a crappy tool? They're too expensive for something that works so poorly.
