Review on 🛠️ RDS MFG INC 11025 Diesel Installation Kit by Adam Mazie

Seems too expensive for a branded product that is not sold separately. The ball float tee is the only part of the kit that I can't buy at an auto parts/hardware store. The check valve is TOO BIG so was useless and the fuel line/hose clamps are of acceptable quality but not that I don't already have them. When I think about it, I have yet to see it with my own eyes. Auxiliary tank with a port on the bottom large enough to use the included non-return valve. I only have 1/4", the same size used for the air compressor lines, not the monstrous size that was included. One very positive thing that I speak of is that mine doesn't leak. When installing I have used a very good quality Permatex thread sealant and given it time to cure.My secondary tank is connected to my storage tank through a Racor fuel filter/water separator with a small (5-9psi) fuel pump. From the tank, the pump PUSHES fuel through a hose to the Racor unit, then sucks it through a 10 micron filter where it reaches the pump and is forced through a float tee into the factory fuel tank filler neck.From my understanding of the research I've done, this is the optimal setting for both a Racor filter and a small fuel pump.Works like a charm and doesn't seem to flow under gravity at all, even on a hot day with the high pressure ending in the booster tank by the hot sun (110 degrees for a week). Even with the fuel tank completely full (confirmed by opening the green fuel cap and visualizing fuel up to the stock vent hose, then closing the green fuel cap firmly) and the fuel pump is still running, I have not yet had any leaks from the fuel tank. t piece. I know this is a common complaint about this particular device and the biggest annoyance after spending $60-$85 on one of these kits. I'm not sure if the others didn't install properly or if I got lucky and got a part that actually works as intended. Anyway, I'm glad it works the way it's supposed to.
