Instructions and installation are very easy. During initialization, make sure you are within 30 feet of Wi-Fi. However, it worked for me about 80 feet of Wi-Fi through the roof. The TF card needs to be installed and formatted into the computer first, then into the camera. The Tuya app notifies and sends a snapshot when motion is detected. I think motion detection picks up people a little better than cars? However, I only missed my truck once when the sun shone on the camera at sunset. The battery seems to stay charged even on a few cloudy days. Even a rainy day didn't bother him. I've had minor connection issues a few times, but my DSL country and my need to have the modem on a timer to reset it once a day are probably to blame. The speaker is a nice touch. I'm still finding out exactly what he's capable of. I intend to place it in an outdoor store connected to a Wi-Fi router that is not connected to the network, so we'll see. In this way, I can easily write to the TF card and view it when needed. I think I can only go back 14 days without a paid cloud service, so I'm not sure. I think a lot of people could be like me and want that kind of setup. If it works I can install a few more from this store. I'll update later if I find out or if anything changes. The build quality seems to be good.
