Last year I bought a pistol grip to use with my cell phone to record facebook live video at work. I liked the grip so much that I got a second one for my GoPro. The grip is lightweight but can easily support the weight of my GoPro camera and iPhone. I don't hesitate to put it on the ground, a rock or a table in tripod mode because it's stable and reliable. Definitely a great option for those looking for something strong, light and stable. Best of all, I carry a messenger bag with me most of the time, and the pistol grip + GoPro slide nicely in and out of my bag, so it's also fairly compact in size and easy to carry.
