This knife is amazing. It is beautifully finished and very well balanced and weighted. It looks and feels like a much more expensive product, but at a price where you actually want to use it as a kitchen knife and not as a conversation piece. That it's made in the USA is an added bonus. It's really cool that Virigina Boys Kitchen is selling such a quality tool made here (from German steel) at such a great price. Update in a few months: this knife is still great and has good edge retention. I probably sharpen every 5-10 days depending on usage. Just a few quick swipes with a regular manual knife sharpener is all it takes to get you back to that ultra-sharp blade it came with.
