I have neck problems and holding a book at eye level instead of hunching my neck to read definitely helps. Also great for turning on my iPad while I'm working on it. The arms are free and the neck aligned. I do have one small complaint, which is that the table itself isn't adjustable back and forth. Only the legs go up or down but that doesn't put you off buying it, the price is great, the laptop is light, it also helps my neck and shoulder joints a lot. Update: found that if you position the legs in a certain way, the table can move in this direction. do you want. Ideal for reading without straining your neck. Excellent thing. Also, the more I use it, the easier it is to press the buttons on the sides to adjust the legs.
