I have had this charger less than 24 hours and it has already been returned to Revain. As the name suggests, despite the bad reviews, I bought this product to try it out. I am a strong believer in the Battery Tender name having installed multiple onboard chargers on my many vehicles with great success. I expected this product to be reliable and to work well, but instead it completely let me down. I regularly charge large batteries for heavy equipment, sometimes large tractor batteries. I thought it was one charger for everyone, but it's not. The instructions were clear enough for me, connecting to Wi-Fi was a welcome addition, although I had some unexplained connection errors. I tested this on a battery that was very low, only putting out 6 volts. I ran the 20 amp boost function and nothing happened. The charger works as it does, the lights flash as per the manual and the cooling fans run at full speed, but the charger does not work. The battery was still delivering 6 volts. I have not tested the 75 amp engine start function nor the power supply function. I switched the charger to charge/assist at 1.25 amps and the battery started to discharge. However, after 18 hours of charging, the progress bar didn't go past 20 percent. I didn't even bother to speak to warranty support because I read that others had the same issue. This is a big disappointment for me as I believe in the battery tender name. Very disappointing, expected more from this name. This charger is in no way capable of doing the job I bought it for. I have already ordered the best DieHard charger to replace this one, it has way better reviews and hopefully it will exceed my expectations.
