Review on 🔊 MagnaFlow 5x11 Oval Performance Muffler Exhaust 12589 - Straight-Through, 3in Inlet/Outlet, Satin Finish - Classic Deep Sound by David Barit

Bought to replace the factory muffler on my 2003 Silverado with a 5.3 (LM7). I wanted a bit more power (adding camera, CAI and setup) without too much noise. It meets all requirements. Slightly louder than stock when idling with nice bass when accelerating. There's the slightest hum if you actually hear it, but I'm pretty picky and I like the sound. 1 to order and the old muffler is cut straight away and this fits right in place - about 1 hour labor with 2 x 3" clamps and 2 x 2.75" heavy duty exhaust clamps (most likely welded on later). Magnaflow recommends the shorter one as a replacement for the standard, but if you want performance without the added sound I recommend this one. Footage - Stock muffler, no muffler, Magnaflow with stock Chevy 5.3. The sound has matured a bit since installation (video filmed while working) but still very close.
