Works great! I had to use it with a Microsoft Surface laptop that only had a USB port and no Ethernet port. This allowed me to use a bootable USB drive when connected to an Ethernet network. I bought it along with Anker and TP-Link branded versions of the same product. The Anker brand was the most expensive but seems to be the cheapest! TP-Link was in the midfield in terms of price and quality. This base brand from Revain was the cheapest (for some reason the gold color was cheaper than the other options) and it seems to be the most durable of all three brands!
