So far so good. Tried another similar product that didn't work. Will update if I find any issues. Update: Changed from 5 stars to 1 star. stopped working To return.

Excellent quality and functionality

Really cool device 4 in one. Ideal for Surface to give you more USB and Ethernet connectivity when you need it. It would have been 5 stars if the cable was a bit longer so that the device does not hang on the surface, which is not a problem with a laptop.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons

Works as it should - so I bought another one!

Connects to your computer to prevent Wi-Fi crashes during important web meetings and more. "Minidisk was included - but my laptops don't have floppy drives! This one worked and was $10 less!

Beats TP-Link and Anker, Price-Quality

Works great! I had to use it with a Microsoft Surface laptop that only had a USB port and no Ethernet port. This allowed me to use a bootable USB drive when connected to an Ethernet network. I bought it along with Anker and TP-Link branded versions of the same product. The Anker brand was the most expensive but seems to be the cheapest! TP-Link was in the midfield in terms of price and quality. This base brand from Revain was the cheapest (for some reason the gold color was cheaper than the…

Did what he had to do.

This item works as intended. I needed a network, not a Wi-Fi connection, and my laptop doesn't have the right connection type. That helped.

  • Great price

  • Could have chosen a newer model

it works for ethernet and usb

Received this as a last resort to get faster internet on an old Macbook that was struggling with extended WiFi at AirB&B. Hell, it worked like night and day. My wife plugged it in and I plugged the ethernet from the extender into this thing and *boom* no more issues with Zoom calls. To be honest, messing around with the internet priority settings took about 3 minutes, but it was easy enough. It looks good and matches the silver computer, but it's not the thinnest I've seen - about the size of…

A must for online courses!

I needed a USB hub for several webcams. I was teaching an online cooking class and needed to provide different camera angles so the audience could see better when I was demonstrating certain techniques. Using this hub and a wireless mouse was the best way to switch between different camera positions on my work surface. The ethernet port was particularly helpful in making a hard connection, giving me a rock-solid connection throughout the session. A must-have article for anyone teaching online…

Great for my use in computers and accessories

I bought this to have more USB 3 ports on my laptop. It does what I need with no problems. I didn't use the ethernet port, but it's good to have one. Didn't notice it getting as hot as some of the other hubs. I like the build quality as it's not cheap plastic.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons

Works as advertised

I don't trust my wireless router. I had a situation where the router radios froze so my wireless network connected server had no internet connection. I was traveling at the time, so I couldn't access my server via RDP while I was away. When I got home, hardwired devices with the router were still working and had an internet connection. I disabled the wireless adapter on the server and replaced it with this USB 3 network adapter. Everything has been great so far and I'm pretty sure I'm getting…

Pros
