Review on ๐Ÿ’ง SEAFLO 42-Series Variable Flow Water Pressure Diaphragm Pump - 12V, 3.0GPM, 55PSI by Richard Edwar

Revainrating 1 out of 5

thought it was great until after six months it started leaking

**updated**** I've bought THREE of these in the last year and each of them started leaking internally pretty quickly. If you must use one, I recommend setting it up in a pot and checking it regularly to make sure it's not damaging the water when it inevitably fails. ** It's a lot quieter than the one it replaced and I appreciate the motor slowing down when pumping small rivers. that would be a five star rating. except that a mysterious leak occurred just six months later. I can't figure out where it's leaking from because it only leaks when it's on and pressurized and it's mounted in a hard-to-reach cabinet, but it's not the plumbing - the water is coming out of the pump or motor housing somewhere . I contacted the seller and they wanted me to send it back to them to test before fulfilling the 4 year warranty that Seaflo advertises on these units. Spring. I live in my RV and if I send the pump back will I need another one or go without plumbing indefinitely. lame.
