Check for replacement blades as soon as they arrive. I have bought many ninja blades and never thought to look at them when they arrived. I bought this as a backup as I make smoothies every day. I needed it a week or two ago and when I put it on it was very difficult for me to put it on and take it off. It's almost like the thread is wrong. There was an extra plastic thread that was loose in the threads and after I removed it it was still tight and almost impossible to put on and even harder to take off. I give up. I bought another one from another seller to use and it's easy to put on and take off. You can see in the picture this matte one is different than the new one I ordered which has a gloss bottom like the original. Can't wait to try my new one tomorrow and throw this one away. From now on I will try all replacement blades immediately to make sure they work properly before it's too late to send them back.
