Better than dead batteries!
The light in my tank wasn't battery powered so I bought it and it's amazing. Works perfectly and saves you money on batteries! Light adds heat to the aquarium, so make sure you have a thermostat in the aquarium water to keep the water from overheating. It's ok with light, it's not just this. This is a great light accessory! Necessary!
