This grater is amazing. It grates perfectly. I make a home made mac-n-cheese where I hand grate 3 different types of cheeses, and I used this and it made the recipe effortless. Cut down my grating time from the typical box grater I was using and it created perfect, fluffy cheese shreds that melted effortlessly in the recipe. I have also used it to zest lemons and grate carrots and have been pleased with the results. It is sharp and makes any grating job quick. It fits nicely over a mixing bowl, so you can grate right into your recipe and it cleans up great and stores well with the safety top on it. I wish I would have bought this years ago.
