Review on 📟 Digital LCD Multimeter DT830B - Enhanced Voltmeter Ammeter Ohm Test Equipment by Jim Polacek

I had to carry a voltmeter and ohmmeter with the customers which were good enough to be useful and didn't make me cry when they broke or forgot /were lost. The DT830B digital multimeter meets these requirements perfectly. I don't need the meter very often, but when I need it, I really need it. The LCD is big enough for my aging eyes to read without glasses. The large dial covers all the ranges I will ever need for DC and AC. The construction feels solid and the wires are quite well made. Durable enough for reasonable bumps and falls. When testing AC voltage (does that outlet give a good output?), DC voltage (does that 5V supply really give 5V?) and resistance (is that capacitor shorted or is the resistor open?) it seems accurate enough. I used my friend's Fluke 113 multimeter as a reference. At about 5% the price of the Fluke 113 I find the DT830B to be a great value and gives me what I need for my rare need in a multimeter. That makes it very valuable to me and deserves 5 stars.
