Review on Solomone Cavalli 5 Spoke Single Bicycle by Aaron Franklin

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Not for the racetrack, for the street!

When it comes to track riding, this is the LAST balance bike you'll want to buy. It's on the heavier side, but not out of control. I use it with my everyday gear (Aventon Mataro Low) for commuting and city riding, but I definitely notice the weight. Once you get used to the weight of the bike, the extra mass will help you maintain speed, but be prepared to pedal early to get this thing going. I make it heavy when it's not too bad, but I want the next person who buys this wheel to understand that it doesn't feel like an unbranded 30mm alloy wheel. HAS WEIGHT. NO COMPARISON WITH CARBON. Other than that I love this wheel but I swapped it off my track bike for a road wheel and have since replaced it with a 3 spoke HED H3+ on my track bike. It should be noted that the axle is larger than standard track fork dropouts (it's an unnamed wheel, which is what you'd expect). work hard. Your front or rear wheels will fall out a little because of the grinder. Conclusion: This is a good wheel. Not great but good. Has some weight but is fun and definitely draws attention as it rolls down the street. Get ready to look good while pedaling and strengthen your legs. I hope I was helpful.
