You can't buy the best galvanized fender. This is a quality replacement fender for your trailer. I bought mine to replace the plastic fenders that came with my canoe trailer. They broke into pieces in less than two years. Most large fenders attach at the left and right ends. This is an 8" fender and requires a rear bracket. If your trailer is similar to mine, you will need to make a mounting bracket like I did. It's easy - just buy galvanized rods and bolts with locknuts (important) at the hardware store. The photos show how I made mine. In the first photo, the galvanized fender is compared to the old, cracked plastic original.
