great idea, EU sockets are very different so the cable with a simple small plug is universally compatible with all EU sockets. Socket at your desk, bed or anywhere. Bought 2 pcs. Here's the problem, one failed for no reason after just 48 hours of my 16 day trip, just didn't work at all, no LED, no power, nothing. The second became problematic over the next 48 hours, the cable connected to the device was at best loosely attached to the device, wobbling too much to the point of becoming detached and making twinkling noises. I had to wake up multiple times during the night to make sure I wasn't on fire and also wiggled the cord just enough to plug it back in and my devices got a full charge. I definitely do NOT recommend it.
