I was very excited when it arrived. My wife and I go camping often, so a lithium battery portable refrigerator is a must. You no longer have to worry about ice melting or dirty ice water spilling into your food. It's bigger than I expected, but it didn't really matter as it still fits in our Subi Outback. What I like is that it's versatile. You can store it as a separate freezer and fridge, or you can have a solid fridge or freezer. My wife loves her ice cream so we keep a baffle in place so he can eat her ice cream while camping which we could never do with a regular cooler. I also like the fact that I can manage settings on my phone. When we first went camping with it, we cooled it down by plugging it into the house the night before. While camping we hooked it up to our solar panels and it worked great for hours! One day we went to the beach and with no outlets I was so pleasantly surprised that I was able to enjoy a popsicle after 6 hours in the sun. and yet our fruit and vegetables are fresh and plump without the mucus that sits in the water! Your car battery is another energy option to keep your fridge running. You simply use the cigarette lighter adapter to turn it on. We also use the fridge when we receive guests. Instead of using a cooler, we take out the center section and fill it with drinks. I think this is the best camping investment we've ever made!
