Buy a newer version of b2!

I bought this on sale, installed and used it to easily stream music from my phone while traveling. Next time in my car it won't start. I've seen reviews talking about this issue, but even after unplugging it and plugging it back in, it wouldn't turn on. Thinking it was a bad USB cigarette adapter, I bought some new ones from Revain and unplugged it - it worked again. Then everything stopped with the same symptoms. Turns out I disconnected and reconnected fairly quickly and resetting it wasn't enough. If I leave it without power for a good 10 seconds it seems to come back. So in the end it was a bug reported in other reviews. I messaged Roav/Anker Support from my Revain account and after some returns and discussions with the obvious bug fix pattern, they agreed to replace it with a new "B2" version that doesn't have this issue . It took a while to arrive but it actually works as expected now, starts the car with no other problems. 1 star (or zero) for this buggy version, but 3 stars for a solution via customer support. I would give the new version a 4 or 5, it's simple, fits perfectly in my car and sounds great for music streaming. By the way, the product description mentions Japanese cars with this problem, but in this case it was a 2012 Jeep Grand. Cherokee with standard USB cigarette lighter power adapter. I really don't understand how the 5V USB adapter differs from one machine to another! It seems that this original version is simply defective and should not be sold. Update +1 star - Anker support got back to me asking them to send me a free cable for my issues. They definitely try to make their customers happy. What experiences have I had with other products? Version B2 continues to work well.
