Review on 🐢 Zoo Med Tortoise Enclosure by Brooke Nelson

Zoo Med Turtle House is the largest aviary on the market and that alone deserves a star. In addition, it is made of wood - the body of choice when keeping turtles indoors. Assembly was easy and took me maybe half an hour. The only thing that confuses me is the quality of the tree itself. It is made from poor quality pressed wood with questionable moisture repellency. To fix this I used the Tall Earth Eco-Safe wood treatment. I need to add some more to the body as the treatment is still pre-drying and airing out. I like the built in shelter and bathing area with metal poles. The design is great! Let's see if the craftsmanship lives up to this idea.** Please note that this enclosure is designed for a small group of young Russian tortoises and will be padded to accommodate their growth and need for exercise. I would not recommend this house for more than a single turtle 6 inches in diameter or less. It's great for a single adult male Russian or hatchlings of various species.
