The images do not accurately convey this item. My only caveat in this review is that I haven't installed it yet, but will as soon as possible. The mounting bracket isn't the usual flimsy cheap metal I see on similar products. The cable to the control box uses a round connector that minimizes the size of the hole if you need to drill, as opposed to a rectangular connector. The connection module is completely flooded, which indicates that it is installed in the engine compartment or in a place where it can get wet or dirty. I LOVE that there are spare fuses (included!) and a fuse tool under the cover. The battery poles are well separated. Use stainless steel, not this one. I'm an EE and chose this specifically because of the use of IGBTs instead of relays and the overall impression I got from the pictures and the manual. My only negative comment is in the 100 manual where it talks about red and white wires. Now I understand that "Width Lamp" means running light, but I still don't understand why there are two wires here. I would suggest reading the manual again to make this point clear, maybe a youtube video to show this. Although I haven't installed it yet (it only arrived about 15 minutes ago), I'm still very impressed. This is SO MUCH better than running high current cables from the battery to the test point through a relatively large switch (for current) and then back to the load. Relays will fail sooner or later, especially when powering an inductive load like a motor. The contacts will corrode over time and increase resistance, creating heat, and they may eventually weld together, keeping the load on all the time. IGBTs do none of that. One wish: More variety in the sticker set! I connect an inverter to one switch, radios (ham radio and CB) to another, lights and other camping/RV loads. The included sticker pack focuses heavily on car lighting. I would be happy to pay for another set of decals if available, or perhaps a way to make my own decals? A thought with my product designer hat: If I were doing this project, the panel LEDs would be off until you touch one of them. Button. This does not turn on the load for that button, it just turns on the LEDs on the panel. If no other key is pressed, the timeout and the LEDs go out. When the panel light is on, each key press turns the load on or off as you would expect. When all loads are disconnected, after a delay, the LEDs on the panel will turn off. I'll come back once this is installed with additional inputs, but for now there are bonus points everywhere!
