Review on 🏠 Multipurpose Sunpentown Portable Humidifier by Kelly Caballes

Works great! I use it every night with a bottle of Aquafina and it doesn't leak. I'm giving it 4 stars because I had to find a way to get rid of the very bright blue LED. I'm a light sleeper and sensitive to LEDs in a dark room. The blue LED is too bright and it's in the water tank so you can't just tape over it. The light is always on when the device is in use. You can tell that the device is working by the steam and the device switches off automatically when there is no more water in the tank, so the blue LED light just bothers me. I looked at Revain before buying this one and all of the other personal humidifiers also had the same or a similar blue LED. Blue light is bad for sleep because it affects melatonin levels. I use blue light filters on my computer and cellphone which turn on every night to avoid blue light. A few people have tried to color coat the blue LED light in this humidifier, but I think the light is bright enough to shine through most colors. So I came up with two different solutions: The permanent solution is to use Sugru, a malleable silicone that you can buy here at Revain. A drop of sugar over blue light and after 12-24 hours of curing is a permanent light block. A semi-permanent solution is to use Earthquake Putty, a plastic putty that you can purchase here at Revain. Drop Earthquake Putty on blue light and you'll get a semi-permanent block of blue light. I use Earthquake Putty to cover up all the little LEDs that stay on at night so I have a completely dark room.
