Beware the manual sucks but you can always check in the park.
Give this switch 5 stars for its value. It cost a third of what I just spent repairing my Sram XO derailleur. No carbon fiber, no jewelry, but the old derailleur that my son's bike came with had just enough play that it couldn't be adjusted for precise shifting. Installation and connection took less than 5 minutes. Keep in mind the instructions suck, but you can always check out the Park Tools or Shimano websites or YouTube for setup tutorial videos if you don't already know how. Very important.
