I'm always skeptical about my baby getting enough layers, especially as I sleep with a thick duvet. This sleeping bag is perfect for me. Dense, but not non-woven fabric, but cotton. It has holes for the legs as she liked to stand in the cradle even before she was good at it. Since she slept alone in her room and often stood and cried while waiting to be picked up, I was always afraid that she would fall into an ordinary sleeping bag. So it worked out great for us. They didn't have sizes under 1 year old and I bought it when she was 10 months old. Now she is almost 14 months old but she is still big. But I see no problem there. She used it almost every night except when it was in the wash. She never worried about size. Definitely recommend it!
