Bought a freestanding bath from Wayfair which came with a cheap flexible drain hose and a small plastic siphon. The tub was always emptied slowly, either because of the double siphon or because the pipe didn't go down the slope and impeded the flow of water. Or maybe both. Because the tub was manufactured with a built-in overflow, you cannot use a traditional tub flange. This product solves everything. Yes, you have to install the drain exactly where you need it, but if you set it up correctly, the tub will literally fall onto that drain. The price is a bit high and I was afraid of it, but now that it's installed and working great, it was worth every penny.
