Non original hardware for my GMC

Unfortunately it was the wrong parking brake cable. The mount was not what was needed for this exchange. I was able to get the cable without this bracket. In addition, the functionality of the original parking brake is a consistent design. This design was a rotational release for the parking brake. He may have been working on some modifications but didn't want to spend extra time modifying the vehicle mount.
