Review on 🔌 Dorman 741-737 Front Driver Side Power Window Motor & Regulator Assembly for Honda Models - Black by Jeff Figueroa

The original regulator in my 1997 Civic was cheap metal and over time the cross brace and gear teeth wore out resulting in a window that would not fully close let. It was a technical service bulletin and the problem with this part has been known for a long time. This replacement part comes with all necessary wiring harnesses and mounting clips. The engine ran smooth and quiet. Installation was a little tricky positioning the regulator and putting the glass back into the channel. The hardest part will probably be installing the door panels. What worked for me was installing a new regulator node and raising the window all the way. First place the top front of the door panel against the glass and work backwards along the top, then work clockwise to replace the panel. Get some extra plastic retaining clips, you will break some of them (Doorman 702-007 Door Panel Assembly Kit). Don't forget to spray the window channels with silicone spray, when the window is open it smooths out like clockwork.
