It's good, but not great

I was initially excited about this monitor based on the great reviews, but returned after a week of use. I have used this monitor for both work (Macbook Pro) and gaming (PS4). Maybe I'm just being picky, but the text isn't as clear when connected to my laptop via USB-C. Gave me vision after a few days of use. I had to set the font larger than usual to be able to use it all day. I thought it might just be my retina display setup but it actually isn't as I haven't experienced this with the new Dell (4k) monitor I have. I suggest that those who prefer really crisp text consider a 4k resolution. Everything is fine on the gaming side. Perhaps a better experience for those with console or PC games that support 21:9. Also, while it offers many good settings, the adjustments on the monitor itself can be difficult for some, I think. For example, enabling one option disables another option. It might make sense to most people why this is the case in terms of which setting applies to which setting, but I suggest reading more about the available settings to see if they suit your needs. They have a manual available on their website if that helps. On the other hand, the build quality is excellent. I didn't see any backlighting either, and the picture quality is decent.
