Pros
- - whatever one may say, it is more convenient to play on it than on a smartphone; - if you have a PS+ subscription, then you don't have to buy games: a small library will accumulate automatically; - a great time killer for scenarios such as: long trips in transport (train, plane, etc.), or if you are going to visit some organization where you are guaranteed to spend at least an hour in line; - more than affordable cost in the secondary market; - the presence of several worthy exclusives; - promotions and sales in the PlayStation Store apply to it.
Cons
- - typical Sony: own format of memory cards (which, even if ordered from Japan, cost almost the same as the set-top box itself, despite the fact that the PSP had more affordable M1 format cards), an incomprehensible connector for power and synchronization (fixed in the ated model with index 2022); - a connector for game cards is absolutely not needed, moreover, I have never even seen these cards live (well, except that fans of exchanging games need it); - it's a shame that Sony abandoned the American and European content markets; - Draconian prices for new consoles in stores.
