Updated packaging fixed the problem with sticking labels from other reviews.
The manufacturer wrapped all the adhesive in plastic wrap to stop the label from sticking to the roll. The product tears easily, writing is very easy and the permanent marker dries instantly. Makes marking equipment very easy. I have a white reel just for this purpose (tackle mark). Haven't tried removing it from the places I intended to apply it yet. But if you tape the strip to any type of equipment, a length of about 5 inches will stick to a sheet of white printer paper. I took my time and carefully removed it, holding the sheet and pulling slowly and evenly. The paper had no traces of glue, damage. and the tape was still perfectly tacky and ready to be used where I really wanted it.
