As I get older, I get annoyed with long 6" x 24" rulers, even if I put the handles on my back. I saw this set of Creative Grids in a YouTube video and decided to give it a try. I LOVE the size of this ruler at 8 x 18 inches. I just fold the fabric and the cuts are more precise. No stretch, no slippage, more fabric fits under the width of the ruler and my hand fits completely on the ruler. The markings on the ruler are great, as with all Creative Grids, and visually it's easier for me to see the measurements. This is a good basic heavy workhorse for a variety of cuts.
