This was a small project that probably took me two hours to complete. Definitely not a project for those who have not done mechanical work on body panels before. On a difficulty scale of 1 to 10 I would say it's a 7. It's not as simple as unscrewing the old one and plugging in the new one. Removing the original was a bit of a hassle. because they are held with double-sided tape, and so i had to break off the old one more or less carefully. Be prepared to thoroughly clean the surface to ensure the tape sticks well. I used paint thinner. It was also a hassle to climb through the door to unplug the old plug and plug in the new one. But hey, it works great and as far as I can tell it's exactly the same part as the original and installed the same way, double sided tape and all. Very happy with the result.
