Before I look at the brush itself, let me pause to comment on the packaging (see image). It's good that it can't break, but no one would mistake it for anything other than the warehouse worker's laziness in choosing box size and the lack of the ubiquitous air seals. But hey! At least it was packaging *no disappointments*! LAUGH OUT LOUD! Now on to the product itself: I bought this because I didn't clean my cooking grates with the safer steel rolled brush (which was itself a replacement for the brass bristle brush that kept stippling my burgers!). It also turns out that ANY wire brush is bad for porcelain-coated grills. I read the reviews and was amazed at the number of people who have used a plastic brush on a hot grill and then said the brush was faulty because it behaves the same as plastic when heated. Perhaps her ignorance can be compared to the said warehouse worker? Anyway, I made the decision to purchase this brush based on the grate manufacturer's recommendations and common sense. That. Brush. Absolutely. Is working. You can actually feel the bristles getting caught between the wands and see the result immediately. If you see a reviewer's photo or text mentioning melted bristles, you can ignore whatever they say about the brush. Also, they should not grill without adult supervision. Pros: It works, period. Cleans between grates better than any rolled steel brush and much safer than a metal bristle brush. Cons: The hanging hook is quite large. I had to bend the prong of my tool rack in the grill cabinet so it could hang flush with the door, otherwise it wouldn't close with the propane tank in the cabinet. But that's really just a small point of criticism and doesn't detract from the general use of the brush.
