First, they are too long. You can tighten them up to get them to work, which I did, but didn't like it. Second, after some use, I've found that some washing machines and some other appliances/faucets have slow water flow. I looked at the strainer on the washing machine hose and found a bunch of white fibers clogging the strainer and slowing the flow of water. Then I also examined the screen in my instantaneous water heater and found the same fibers. I suspect they came from those water filters. I stopped using them.
